Biography
Reuben Butler (Ngā Puhi, Ngati Kahu ki Whangaroa) graduated from Toi Whakaari school of acting in 2013. Alongside his acting credits in tv series and theatre, he is a talented musician and writer. He has appeared in various musical theatre shows, performed with the Modern Māori Quarter and is a hip hop artist.
A te reo māori speaker, Reuben’s voice is rich and deep. His voice credits include the role of Officer Jerome Hika in the recently released podcast series ‘The River’ - an eerie 6-part mystery with a Maori twist, and host of the ‘Love Better’ relationship series on Vice.
