Jeremy Elwood has had an entertainment career spanning twenty years and a wide range of genres. An actor, stand-up comedian, writer, musician and director across live stages, television, corporate events and short films, his multiple skills and wealth of experience can fit into almost any event.

His award-winning brand of topical, socially relevant stand-up comedy has created over a dozen one-hour solo shows at comedy festivals in New Zealand, Australia, Edinburgh and South East Asia, alongside headline spots at comedy clubs in the US, Canada and the UK.
He has been a regular guest on TV3’s 7Days since it’s pilot episode, is currenlty head writer on The Project NZ for the same network. He has also regularly appeared on RNZ’s The Panel, The Big Comedy Gala, Aotearo-HA!, After Hours and the Paramount Comedy Channel, and writes a weekly column for Fairfax Media.

His acting CV covers TV (Shortland Street, Why Does Love?) Theatre (Success, The Slapdash Assassin) and short films (Review, Cade) as well as numerous commercials.

He has performed as an after dinner speaker and MC for many of New Zealand’s biggest companies, charities and industry groups, ranging from small dinner gatherings to enormous multi-day conferences, across a huge range of audience demographics, event styles and core business diversities.

Smart, professional and vastly experienced, Jeremy can fit his own style into whatever event, project or production you have in mind, bringing all of the skills he has honed for his entire career.
