Estelle has been working as a radio announcer since 2007. She has been nominated for three NZ Radio Awards and in 2009 won 'Best non-breakfast Announcer'. The job is about communicating with others and also being a good listener and connecting stories and people - this is why she is a great person to host events!
With a performing arts/theatre background, event management experience and a big voice Estelle is in high demand to host local events. She is great on the mic, a bit cheeky, able to read an audience and enjoys being in front of people.
"Getting out from the studio is something I really enjoy. Meeting people, engaging with them, bringing a sensitivity to an event and sharing/creating an energy to help set the tone. It's also a brilliant excuse to find the perfect dress, or cycle pants as the Abel Tasman Cycle Challenge proved to me!"
Previous clients include:
The Northland Business Awards, The Pink Star Walk with Breast Cancer NZ, Boxing Day Races Ellerslie (Fashion in the Field), Clevedon Polo, Northland Wine and Seafood Festival, Weetbix Kids Try-Athlon, Nelson Fashion on Morrison for the Regional Breast and Gynaecological Trust, Auckland Fashion Awards, Abel Tasman Cycle Challenge, Albany Christmas Carols.
Amazing work yesterday thank you so much, you made all those little hiccups smooth showing a true professional thank you and Merry Christmas!!"Christine Glover, Albany Community Co-ordinator
