Jamie Curry is widely recognised as one of the country's most successful YouTube sensations. Jamie is also a vlogger, actor and comedian, best known for creating 'Jamie's World'. Beginning with a parody on Weird Al Yankovic's song ‘White and Nerdy’, her online vlogs and comedy skits about teen life have made her a worldwide sensation.
She began creating Jamie's World in 2012 and in 2015 authored her first book, 'They Let Me Write A Book!: Jamies World'. On June 24th of this year, after notably taking some time out from creating content, Jamie made a huge announcement on her social media which answered where she had been and why she hadn't been creating more constant content. The announcement saw Jamie’s social following increase a substantial amount. With an increase of over 25k followers across her social platforms (and growing!) in the first 24 hours. Her announcement generated more than 530,000 views and over 6,000 comments on her YouTube within 24 hours.
