With a performing arts background, a big but easy to listen to voice AND event management experience – radio announcer Estelle is in high demand as a MC and Host.
Currently on THE HITS, she has been working in radio since 2007, and has been nominated for three NZ Radio Awards and in 2009 won ‘Best non-breakfast Announcer’.
A radio announcer needs a special skill set to connect with listeners and tell stories – which has provided Estelle with the perfect skill set for a live event host. She is great on the mic, a bit cheeky, able to read an audience, and enjoys being in front of people.
Estelle is not only an MC, but she is a registered Marriage Celebrant. She has hosted the Weetbix kids tryathlon over quite a few years now, and been a favourite over the years, as she knows how to keep to schedule, bring some fun but also clear communication on a super busy day. She has also hosted events locally, including the ‘Christmas Glow Festival’ in Titirangi, Movies and Music in Parks for Auckland City Council, and is the MC at The Pink Star Walks with Breast Cancer NZ.
